The person who loves others will also be loved ..

A long time ago, a girl named Tasnim got married and went to live with her husband and mother-in-law. In a very short time, Tasnim found that she couldn’t get along with her mother-in-law at all.

Their personalities were very different, and Tasnim was angered by many of her mother-in-law’s habits. In addition, she criticized Tasnim constantly.

Days passed days, and weeks passed weeks. Tasnim and her mother-in-law never stopped arguing and fighting. But what made the situation even worse was that, according to Asian tradition, Tasnim had to bow to her mother-in-law and obey her every wish.

All the anger and unhappiness in the house was causing the poor husband great distress.

Finally, Tasnim could not stand her mother-in-law’s bad temper and dictatorship any longer, and she decided to do something about it.

Tasnim went to see her father’s good friend, Mr. Halil, who sold herbs. She told him the situation and asked if he would give her some poison so that she could solve the problem once and for all. Mr. Halil thought for a while, and finally said, Tasnim, I will help you solve your problem, but you must listen to me and obey what I tell you. Tasnim said, “Yes, Mr. Halil, I will do whatever you tell me to do.”

Mr. Halil went into the back room, and returned in a few minutes with a package of herbs.

He told Tasnim, “You can’t use a quick-acting poison to get rid of your mother-in-law, because that would cause people to become suspicious. Therefore, I have given you a number of herbs that will slowly build up poison in her body.

Every other day prepare some delicious meal and put a little of these herbs in her serving. Now, in order to make sure that nobody suspects you when she dies, you must be very careful to act very friendly towards her. Don’t argue with her, obey her every wish, and treat her like a queen.”

Tasnim was so happy. She thanked Mr. Halil and hurried home to start her plot of murdering her mother-in-law. Weeks went by, and months went by, and every other day, Tasnim served the specially treated food to her mother-in-law. She remembered what Mr. Halil had said about avoiding suspicion, so she controlled her temper, obeyed her mother-in-law, and treated her like her own mother. After six months had passed, the whole household had changed.

Tasnim had practiced controlling her temper so much that she found that she almost never got mad or upset. She hadn’t had an argument in six months with her mother-in-law, who now seemed much kinder and easier to get along with.

The mother-in-law’s attitude toward Tasnim changed, and she began to love Tasnim like her own daughter. She kept telling friends and relatives that Tasnim was the best daughter-in-law one could ever find. Tasnim and her mother-in-law were now treating each other like a real mother and daughter.

Tasnim ’s husband was very happy to see what was happening.

One day, Tasnim came to see Mr. Halil and asked for his help again. She said, “Dear Mr. Halil, please help me to keep the poison from killing my mother-in-law! She’s changed into such a nice woman, and I love her like my own mother. I do not want her to die because of the poison I gave her.”

Mr. Halil smiled and nodded his head. “Tasnim, there’s nothing to worry about. I never gave you any poison. The herbs I gave you were vitimans to improve her health. The only poison was in your mind and your attitude toward her, but that has been all washed away by the love which you gave to her.”

MORAL: Friends, have you ever realized that how you treat others is exactly how they will treat you? In Asia it is said: The person who loves others will also be loved.

The Young Man's 3 Questions ..

There was a young man who went overseas to study for quite a long time. When he returned, he asked his parents to find him a religious scholar or any expert who could answer his 3 Questions. His parents were able to find him a Muslim scholar. This was what they had discussed:

Young man: Who are you? Can you answer my questions?

Scholar: I am one of Allaah (Subhana Wa Ta`ala's servants and Insha-Allaah (God willing), I will be able to answer your questions.

Young man: Are you sure? A lot of Professors and experts were NOT able to answer my questions.

Scholar: I will try my best, with the help of Allaah (Subhana Wa Ta`ala).

Young Man: I have 3 questions:
1. Does God exist? If so, show me His shape.
2. What is Taqdeer (fate)?
3. If Shaitan (Devil) was created from the fire, why at the end he will be thrown to hell that is also created from fire. It certainly will not hurt him at all, since Shaitan (Devil) and the hell were created from fire. Did God not think of it this far?

Suddenly, the Scholar slapped the young man's face very hard.

Young Man (feeling pain): Why do you get angry at me?

Scholar: I am not angry. The slap is my answer to your three questions.

Young Man: I really don't understand.

Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?

Young Man: Of course, I felt the pain.

Scholar: So do you believe that pain exists?

Young Man: Yes.

Scholar: Show me the shape of the pain!

Young Man: I cannot.

Scholar: That is my first answer. All of us feel God's existence without being able to see His shape... Last night, did you dream that you will be slapped by me?

Young Man: No.

Scholar: Did you ever think that you will get a slap from me today?

Young Man: No.

Scholar: That is Taqdeer (fate) my second answer... My hand that I used to slap you, what is it created from?

Young Man: It is created from flesh.

Scholar: How about your face, what is it created from?

Young Man: Flesh.

Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?

Young Man: In pain.

Scholar: That's it. this is my third answer, Even though Shaitan (Devil) and also the hell were created from the fire, if Allah wants, Insha-Allaah (God willing), the hell will become a very painful place for Shaitan.

A Wise Young Muslim Boy ..

Many years ago, during the time of the Tâbi'în (the generation of Muslims after the Sahâbah), Baghdâd was a great city of Islam. In fact, it was the capital of the Islamic Empire and, because of the great number of scholars who lived there, it was the center of Islamic knowledge.

One day, the ruler of Rome at the time sent an envoy to Baghdad with three challenges for the Muslims. When the messen

ger reached the city, he informed the khalîfah that he had three questions which he challenged the Muslims to answer.

The khalîfah gathered together all the scholars of the city and the Roman messenger climbed upon a high platform and said, "I have come with three questions. If you answer them, then I will leave with you a great amount of wealth which I have brought from the king of Rome." As for the questions, they were: "What was there before Allâh?" "In which direction does Allâh face?" "What is Allâh engaged in at this moment?"

The great assembly of people were silent. (Can you think of answers to these questions?) In the midst of these brilliant scholars and students of Islam was a man looking on with his young son. "O my dear father! I will answer him and silence him!" said the youth. So the boy sought the permission of the khalîfah to give the answers and he was given the permission to do so.

The Roman addressed the young Muslim and repeated his first question, "What was there before Allâh?"

The boy asked, "Do you know how to count?"

"Yes," said the man.

"Then count down from ten!" So the Roman counted down, "ten, nine, eight, ..." until he reached "one" and he stopped counting

"But what comes before 'one'?" asked the boy.

"There is nothing before one- that is it!" said the man.

"Well then, if there obviously is nothing before the arithmetic 'one', then how do you expect that there should be anything before the 'One' who is Absolute Truth, All-Eternal, Everlasting the First, the Last, the Manifest, the Hidden?"

Now the man was surprised by this direct answer which he could not dispute. So he asked, "Then tell me, in which direction is Allâh facing?"

"Bring a candle and light it," said the boy, "and tell me in which direction the flame is facing."

"But the flame is just light- it spreads in each of the four directions,

North, South, East and West. It does not face any one direction only," said the man in wonderment.

The boy cried, "Then if this physical light spreads in all four directions such that you cannot tell me which way it faces, then what do you expect of the Nûr-us-Samâwâti-wal-'Ard: Allâh - the Light of the Heavens and the Earth!? Light upon Light, Allâh faces all directions at all times."

The Roman was stupified and astounded that here was a young child answering his challenges in such a way that he could not argue against the proofs. So, he desperately wanted to try his final question. But before doing so, the boy said,

"Wait! You are the one who is asking the questions and I am the one who is giving the answer to these challenges. It is only fair that you should come down to where I am standing and that I should go up where you are right now, in order that the answers may be heard as clearly as the questions."

This seemed reasonable to the Roman, so he came down from where he was standing and the boy ascended the platform. Then the man repeated his final challenge, "Tell me, what is Allâh doing at this moment?"

The boy proudly answered, "At this moment, when Allâh found upon this high platform a liar and mocker of Islam, He caused him to descend and brought him low. And as for the one who believed in the Oneness of Allâh, He raised him up and established the Truth. Every day He exercises (universal) power (Surah 55 ar-Rahmân, Verse 29)."

The Roman had nothing to say except to leave and return back to his country, defeated. Meanwhile, this young boy grew up to become one of the most famous scholars of Islam. Allâh, the Exalted, blessed him with special wisdom and knowledge of the deen. His name was Abu Hanîfah (rahmatullâh 'alayhi- Allâh have mercy on him) and he is known today as Imâm-e-A'dham, the Great Imâm and scholar of Islam.

The Red and Blue coat ..

Once there were two boys who were great friends, and they were determined to remain that way forever. When they grew up and got married, they built their houses facing one another. There was a small path that formed a border between their farms.
One day, a trickster from the village decided to play a trick on them. He dressed himself in a two-color coat that was divided down the middle. So, one side of the coat was red, and the other side was blue.

The trickster wore this coat and walked along the narrow path between the houses of the two friends. They were each working opposite each other in their fields. The trickster made enough noise as he passed them to make sure that each of them would look up and see him passing.

At the end of the day, one friend said to the other, "Wasn't that a beautiful red coat that man was wearing today?"

"No", the other replied. "It was a blue coat."

"I saw the man clearly as he walked between us!" said the first, "His coat was red."

"You are wrong!" said the other man, "I saw it too, and it was blue."

"I know what I saw!" insisted the first man. "The coat was red!"

"You don't know anything," the second man replied angrily. "It was blue!"

They kept arguing about this over and over, insulted each other, and eventually, they began to beat each other and roll around on the ground.

Just then, the trickster returned and faced the two men, who were punching and kicking each other and shouting, "Our friendship is OVER!"

The trickster walked directly in front of them, and showed them his coat. He laughed at their silly fight. The two friends saw this his coat was red on one side and blue on the other.

The two friends stopped fighting and screamed at the trickster saying, "We have lived side by side like brothers all our lives, and it is all your fault that we are fighting. You have started a war between us."

"Don't blame me for the battle," replied the trickster. "I did not make you fight. Both of you are wrong, and both of you are right. Yes, what each one saw was true. You are fighting because you only looked at my coat from your own point of view."

Islamic Quotes and More on Fortune-Telling ..

FORTUNE - TELLING

The Salaah (Daily Prayer) Of Whoever Approaches A Fourtune - Teller And Asks Him About Anything Will Not be Accepted For 40 Days And Nights.

- Prophet Muhammad
(Peace Be Upon Him)

Astrology, horoscopes, superstition and fortune-telling are all actions of Jaahiliyyah (ignorance) which Islam came to show as false and to explain that they are Shirk, because they involve depending on something other than Allaah and believing that benefit and harm come from something other than Him, and believing the words of fortune-tellers who falsely claim to have knowledge of the unseen in order to cheat people of their money and change their beliefs.

The evidence (Daleel) for that is the Hadeeth narrated by Abu Dawood in his Sunan with a Saheeh Isnaad from Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allaah (Peace Be Upon Him) said:

“Whoever learns anything of astrology has learned a branch of witchcraft (al-Sihr)…”

And al-Bazzaar narrated with a Jayyid Isnaad from ‘Imraan Ibn Husayn that the Messenger of Allaah (Peace Be Upon Him) said:

“He is not one of us who practises augury or has it done for him, who tells fortunes or has his fortune told, or who practises witchcraft or has that done for him.”

Whoever claims to know some matter of the unseen either is a fortune-teller or is acting like a fortune-teller in some sense, because Allaah is the only One Who has knowledge of the unseen. Allaah says:

“Say: ‘None in the heavens and the earth knows the Ghayb (Unseen) except Allaah…’” [27:65]

To everyone who has anything to do with these matters is to repent to Allaah and ask for His forgiveness, and to depend only on Allaah and to put their trust in Him in all their affairs, whilst following the practical means that are prescribed or permitted in Sharee’ah.

They should give up these matters of Jaahiliyyah, keep away from them and avoid asking the people who practice them or believe what they say, out of obedience to Allaah and His Messenger (Peace Be Upon him), and in order to protect his commitment to Islam and his ‘Aqeedah (religious belief).

Islamic Quotes on Camel Hump Hijaab ..

Abu Hurayrah relates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “There are two categories among the inhabitants of Hell whom I have not encountered. The first are people who carry whips like the tails of cows and beat the people with them. The second are women, clothed yet naked, drawn to licentiousness and enticing others to it, their heads like the swaying humps of camels – they will neither enter Paradise nor even smell its fragrance, though its fragrance can be found to a great distance.”
[Sahih Muslim (2127)]
